A: Akari Light Sculpture has been in continuous production with Ozeki and
Company in Gifu, Japan since 1951.
Q: How do I care for
Akari Light Sculpture?
A: Place your lantern in a spot away from any heat source and if possible
out of direct sunlight. For cleaning we suggest a light brushing with a feather
duster.
Q: How do you repair
Akari Light Sculpture?
A: If the lantern gets torn, we suggest invisible tape adhered to the inside
of the lamp. We do not offer any repair service.
Q: Are replacement shades
sold?
A: Most models are only sold as complete units with stands/frame. We will
special order certain shades such as those for UF4 models. For BB1, 2 and 3 Models,
the shades can be sold separately. Please call 718.721.2308 to special order.
Special orders take approximately three months.

A: Akari Light Sculpture has been known to last up to 20-30 years, if cared
for properly.

A: The paper will mellow to a golden color with time.
