Noguchi Cyclone Tables

The design for the Cyclone™ Table was first conceived by Noguchi in 1953 as a rocking stool of metal wire and wood for Knoll, the playful object evolved into a table that became a companion piece to the Bertoia wire children’s chair. At the suggestions of Hans Knoll, the Noguchi table was enlarged to full size in 1957. Reintroduced by Knoll in collaboration with the Noguchi Foundation, the table is once again available and produced to Noguchi’s original drawings.

Materials:
Base: Column of chrome-plate steel wire set into a cast iron black base.
Table top: Veneer core plywood with high pressure laminate top.
