Noguchi Tea Cups

In 1952, Noguchi created prototypes for tea cups and saucers that were never put into production. Noguchi had spent the last few years living and working on the land of the eminent Japanese potter Kitaoji Rosanjin. While these cups offer all the sleekness of modern design, they are actually based on an old terra-cotta cup that Noguchi owned.
